Salary: $22.00 - $27.00 DOE

Summary: The Inventory Control Holds Coordinator is responsible for placing all non-conforming materials and ingredients and managing them through the lifecycle held inventory process for either the Anaheim or West Sacramento locations. This will include damaged, defective, compromised and expired items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
- Coordinate placing all non-conforming materials and ingredients on hold, and immediately prepare corresponding documentation, and system updates of current inventory status.
- Run reports out of appropriate operating systems to capture any upcoming expired or already expired ingredients; determine if the ingredients are scheduled to be used prior to expiration.
- Request extensions via email to supplier, and/or customers IT systems etc.
- Submit defective materials via customer portals for non-conforming materials.
- Distribute hold forms to appropriate recipients which may be internal departments, customers, and/or suppliers.
- Follow-up on all holds frequently for final disposition.
- Close dispositioned holds and update system statuses; accordingly, distribute to appropriate recipients which may be internal departments, customers, and/or suppliers.
- Ensure the accuracy of held inventory in all systems.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to take on other tasks relating to departmental needs.
- Participate in departmental GMP zone audits.
- Participate, as required by the department manager, in Plant Quality System implementation and subsequent audits.
- General
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
- Regular and punctual attendance.

- Training will be given on each operating system; currently AS400, ILS, Avail & SAP are utilized.
.Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- High School Diploma required;
- 5 years’ experience;
- Or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be computer literate, experience with the following systems preferred: SAP, AS400, Avail, ILS.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Language Skills: English, Spanish helpful

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in both an office and warehouse setting, and occasionally works in varying weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. However, the noise level in the work environment can often be loud and disruptive due to the nature of working with Production.
