Inventory Control Clerk, - First Shift Shipping & Receiving (Chicago - Racine) Job at OSI Group
POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Clerk is a lead position and the primary responsibilities are to monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. This position is also responsible for entering raw material usage into the computer. The position also performs cycle counts of raw and finished materials on a regular basis to Assis with resolving discrepancies between raw materials received and utilized in the production process.
MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile raw materials received to raw materials on hand and correct discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts on a regular and as needed basis.
- Relieve inventory by entering raw material usage in production on a daily basis in SAP.
- Investigate discrepancies of inventory as needs arise.
- Provide reports to supervisors and team members as needed.
- Utilize forklift or hand jacks as needed to move inventory.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
- Ability to read in English.
- Basic understanding of SAP
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
