Downs Food Group is a leading fully-cooked protein processor and co-packer of frozen entrees. We produce branded and private label products for some of America’s top companies. The International Sales Representative will be fast paced, and multi-faceted position with the objective of satisfying the demands of both the global customer and internal operations. Global travel will be required. This position will focus on global locations outside of North and South America.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with international brokers and agents in targeted areas.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to develop markets
- Domestic and International Travel will be required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree: minimum of Bachelors.
- 3-5 years of international sales experience. Preferance given to experience in areas outside of the Americas.
- Experience in the shelf stable or private label food products preferred.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.
- Strong oral, written and computer skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Ability to interact with and adapt to different personalities and work styles.
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management.
