Integration and Test with Secret Clearance Job at APR Consulting Inc
An aerospace client is looking for an Integration and Test with Secret Clearance that will be of assistance in developing a test plan and conducting the execution for the Space to Ground Compatibility (SCG) test effort.
Position: Integration and Test
Location: Redondo Beach, CA 90278 (Onsite)
Payrate: $42.93 - $63.37/hr on W2
Schedule: 9/80
Duration: 24 Months
Responsibilities
- Will develop/collect DT&E and OT&E test plans and incorporate them into the SGC Test Plan, as well as plan out & schedule any supporting Engineering Design Test, Space to Ground Test, and Multi-Segment Test.
- With existing expertise with SGC Test activities, System Test and Evaluation best practices, pre-CDR test planning, and familiarity with space and ground segments.
- Requires good interpersonal skills to enable collaboration with the different IPTs and the customer.
- Will work with the System Integration, Test & Operations Manager to identify a test approach, resources needed and number of test events to conduct for the SGC testing, as well as an overall plan for the entire test campaign.
- Will present to senior NG and customer leadership the SGC test recommendations and rationale for those recommendations.
Qualification
- US Citizen
- A current Secret Security Clearance.
- Should have at least 3-5 year’ experience.
- Must have very good verbal and written capabilities and be willing and able to effectively mentor junior engineers.
- An experienced engineer who is a self-starter and is effective in drawing up plans for a system that is early in its development (Pre PDR) to inform future work scope.
At a minimum, a 7-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.
