Integrated Producer (Advertising) Job at Sway Creative Labs
Sway Creative Labs (http://www.madebysway.com) is seeking an experienced, organized, and confident Integrated Producer who doesn’t shy away from taking the lead to join our Norfolk, VA team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing digital, print, video, and internal projects of every size and complexity from kick-off to deployment, and act as a point person for clients, vendors, and our internal team.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in an advertising agency setting
- A keen understanding in at least two of the following three mediums — digital, broadcast, and print; with digital project cycle experience and multi-channel campaign management being preferable
Core Responsibilities:
- Have a command of all projects digital, print, and broadcast with a “quick learning” aptitude when presented with challenges outside of their and the shop’s knowledge base
- Contribute insights and ideas on achieving client goals while working alongside our creative and development teams
- Be a promptly responsive, knowledgeable, and courteous primary conduit between our clients and our internal team members
- Lead project meetings both internally and with the client with an keen understanding and anticipation of the steps, timing, and resources needed to fluently navigate a project cycle; as well as ask the right questions of the right people to facilitate clarity in the project process
- Set a sound example for Project Managers on best practices around project management such as opening tasks to convention with thorough descriptions and materials needed, setting meeting agendas, following up with meeting notes, a strong sense of task prioritization, and affording for ample and respectful time for operators to complete those tasks while still meeting client deadlines
- Lend your institutional knowledge to process improvements and discussions with Directors to help shape and refine the project flow here at Sway
- Define project scopes based on creative briefs and client insights
- Develop and maintain schedules that target milestone dates and afford operators and client time to revise and review the work in its many phases to completion
- Conduct periodic check-ins with operators on larger projects to ensure incremental progress between milestones, and enact course correction if needed
- Manage project budget and track actuals against estimate
- Be a pre-production and on-set leader, anticipating challenges, planning for alternative actions given those challenges, having answers for questions around schedule, scene, and talent, be the primary contact for partners, clients, talent, and utilize a Production Assistant in whatever capacity you see fit to keep creatives on time and in focus
- Promptly invoice for work completed

- 17 Paid Holidays. Your Birthday, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Monday after the Super Bowl, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day
- Two-Hour Windows. So long as the privilege is not abused, we offer each employee 2-hour leave windows at the beginning (9am – 11am EST) and end of the workday (3pm – 5pm) to tend to any appointments like unexpected child care challenges, doctor’s visits, home maintenance, etc. that do not count against your allotted paid time off
- Health Plan. All employees are eligible to enroll in one of (3) Group Optima Health Plans; with Sway covering 80% of employee’s cost and 50% of your dependents
- Dental Insurance. Sway pays 100% of employee’s United Concordia Dental Plan
- Yearly bonuses. Unless otherwise stated, you will be eligible to receive a year-end bonus based on your performance, to be determined in Sway’s full discretion. Payment of bonuses is on the second paycheck of November each year. Additional bonuses may be awarded throughout the year based on your own (including your efforts in generating new business via your own relationships) and the company’s performance, to be determined at Sway’s discretion

- Retirement Benefits. Sway is also proud to provide a Simplified Employee Pension Plan; making contributions directly to an IRA set up for each employee that has been with the company for a minimum of 23 months (SEP-IRA). Sway endeavors to make yearly contributions to all qualifying employees based on the company’s performance for the year, and this requires no contributions from employees; it’s solely money contributed by Sway and evenly distributed to all qualified employees
