The Building Trades Department is seeking applicants for an instructor in the HVAC AOS degree program. The position's responsibilities include instructing post-secondary students in plumbing and HVAC principles and application. Academic instruction will include classroom lecture and hands-on activity at on and off-campus sites. Outside of teaching responsibilities, the position will require involvement in the campus community and university service to include student advising, recruiting, committee service, curriculum development, and maintaining industry relations. Anticipated start date; Fall 2023

Job Requirements:


Applicants must be well versed in heating and electrical theories, as well as expertise in plumbing and air conditioning service and installation.

Successful candidates will have minimum of seven years of trade experience. Preferred candidates will hold an associate's degree in a related field. Qualified applicants who do not hold an associate's degree must be willing to achieve degree completion within three years from the start of employment. Teaching experience in a technical environment is preferred.
