Carroll Motor Fuels is a growing regional fuel distributor and is hiring Inside Sales Representative professionals to join the sales team. If you love to talk with people and are detail oriented, persistent, and a self-motivated individual who wants to be a positive impact on a team’s success, then we would like your application.
Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of calls with a proprietary network to answer questions while offering excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed records of outgoing and incoming calls as well as follow up information and outcomes.
- Respond to customer service issues, concerns or complaints with the program and seek to expedite resolution of a problem.
- Accurately document the customer's contact information including phone number, email address and other essential account development information, verify the system is correct and make changes as necessary.
- Persuasively engage the customer in conversation to understand their needs and explain how our program will improve their operation and profitability.
- Ask relevant leading questions to understand the customer's needs and recommend the best programs or services for their purposes,
- Print and/or change delivery tickets to reflect current needs, address any changes with the customer and management.
- Respond to website leads, cultivate house accounts, and create an efficient strategy to add sales to house and current accounts to grow the book of business.
- Provide account analysis and solutions.
- Identify and learn products to provide expert solutions to customer questions.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of successful prior experience in sales, customer service, call center, telemarketing is preferred.
- Eager to receive coaching and constructive feedback to continually improve sales techniques and results.
- Willingness to work towards a goal and understand the path to achieving goals requires effort and education of products. Goals are an indication of performance.
- Ability to promote a product or service using persuasive language and techniques.
- Fluency in English is essential, bilingual is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software plus sending and receiving online forms to open and set up accounts.
- Speed and accuracy in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Career Path:
This position is an entry level role that will lead to an outside sales position with salary and commission plus extra bonuses. The training for this role may last 6 to 18 months depending on performance and review.
