Job Purpose
The Infrastructure Specialist I – Linux/Network is responsible for supporting and maintaining the on premises and cloud-hosted Linux infrastructure and crafting complex network infrastructure solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and security of network systems, as well as optimizing performance and capacity. The Linux / Network Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for building solutions that meet the performance needs of the service, the financial and security needs of the organization, and the business needs of the stakeholder. As the resident Linux specialist, you will be responsible for acting as a 2nd tier support: troubleshooting and resolving Linux and network-related issues, as well as providing technical guidance and support to other teams as needed. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Linux operating systems, network protocols, and security best practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
