We are a 98 bed skilled nursing facility that is located in Cumberland RI. We are actively seeking a full time Infection Control Nurse to join our family! This is a great opportunity to join a strong and supportive clinical team! We are willing to train someone to be successful in this role.
Completes all surveillance of infectious disease outbreaks
Develops policies and procedures for infection control practices
Serves as the infection preventionist ( infection control Nurse) for the facility
Ensures the staff abides by the principles and techniques of infection Control and Safety by providing an environment that is clean, safe, and comfortable for the residents.
Develops the educational calendar for all mandatory and clinical in services
Responsible for coordinating and implementing ongoing in-service training for all staff
