Industrial Painter Job at FS-Elliott Co., LLC
Summary: Performing manual labor in a production environment; Shot Blast, prime and paint raw material and finished components.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shot blast raw material
- Prime raw material
- Prep manufactured components for finish paint
- Finish paint manufactured components
- Document paint thickness per specification
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.
- Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.
- Firm commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with others
- Demonstrated problem solving and time-management skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment
- Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customer
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures with a safety-first attitude
- Broad level of safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- A top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in themselves and in others
- Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software; Epicor experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
