Industrial Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

An international food company is seeking a Maintenance Technician with at least 1 year of working experience in production.

This food manufacture has been around for more than 80 years, and their products are sold at most major grocery stores. They are growing!

Salary: $19.00/hr + OT

Shifts Available: 9:00pm – 6:00am Monday to Saturday

Summary:

Supports the Production, Logistics and other departments by making repairs, adjustments and improvements, installing new equipment and managing & operating utility equipment, in timely manner with minimum cost.

• Respond to service request from Production and the other departments and perform appropriate trouble shooting, repair or improvement.
• Improve production efficiency, energy consumption, amount of waste, maintenance cost, work safety and work environment with continuous effort.
• Communicate with shift supervisor and coworkers to complete work order
• Maintain tools, machine parts, supplies and workshop well
• Input Work Orders using CMMS (eMaint)
• Manage and operate utility equipment including but not limited to electric switch gears, boiler, air compressor, chiller, ventilation.
• Conduct company project helping maintenance manager and related department.

Requirement:

• High school diploma or Certificate
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to read and understand machine manuals written in English or Spanish
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams
• Able to drive forklift and aerial work platform
• Proper use of hand and power tools
• Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC
• Problem Solving
• Able to lift max 50 lbs. (if exceeds use teamwork and proper equipment)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
