AMTELCO is a leading manufacturer of SQL-based call handling and messaging software for the healthcare, answering service, and call center industries throughout the United States. We have received more than 30 U.S. Patents for telephony software, data handling methodologies, and telephone switching devices!

We’re seeking a Customer Care Implementation Specialist that will contribute to our mission of working with our family of customers to provide the very best products and support, creating a successful long-term partnership. This position works closely with our Project Management, Field Service Engineering, and Software Engineering teams, and interacts with our customers via phone, email, and on-site visits. Our talented, enthusiastic Implementation Specialist will require analytical skills to create site-specific programming build and documents as well as reference documents and movies for AMTELCO’s TechHelper website.

This Full-Time position is based in AMTELCO’s McFarland, WI office and reports to our Implementation Team Director. Determined by your director and team lead, the benefit of a hybrid workplace model occurs at different times for each employee based on job performance.

How will I make an impact?

  • Work with the Implementation Team and independently to:
  • --- learn new software and its best practice rollout to customers
  • --- implement existing software better
  • Develop reference materials on current and new software
  • Apply Adult Learning Theory to educate customers on programming features associated with and on the operational use of software upgrades and new installations
  • Interpret contracts
  • Document project training sessions
  • Provide the Project Management Team with project updates and concerns, completing project steps in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot software bugs with the Field Service Engineering Team and Software Engineering Team
  • Upgrade software and perform limited technical assistance when no on-site AMTELCO technician is available
  • Advocate for streamlined programming enhancements and future software development
  • Attend weekly implementation and software meetings
  • Become an expert in specific areas of our proprietary software
  • Present at conferences in Madison and perhaps other locations nationally

What does success look like in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate degree required with business experience.
  • Experience in answering service or hospital environments preferred
  • Solid Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Technical background
  • Familiarity with Camtasia preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
  • Reliable with a professional attitude
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to travel throughout North America up to 50% of the time required

AMTELCO chooses not to employ persons who require sponsorship for an employment visa, such as an H-1B visa. Being authorized to work in the U.S. and being able to physically work in our McFarland, WI office is a precondition of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
