Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is looking for a Sourcing and Supply Analyst. This position can be a hybrid or remote position. Candidates can be located anywhere in the United States.

Manage the sourcing and supply of the Product Line. Support sourcing teams in providing updated and accurate information related to suppliers, sourcing markets and raw material prices. Develop and continuously improve processes for measuring and tracking on-going initiatives results and targets. Update and maintain material masters in consultation with appropriate Product Line and ERP specialists

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify cost effective supply chain for engineered and proprietary parts for Product Line

• Coordinate and ensure timeliness of delivery of sourced parts with suppliers

• Analyze and communicate trends in raw material cost

• Monitor and report on the performance of the sourcing project portfolio

• Support negotiation efforts with analysis of supplier and material cost information

• Develop, implement and maintain tools for tracking progress and result

• Monitor and expedite progress of sourcing project portfolio versus targets

• Support the target setting process

• Responsible for quality of information in sourcing related databases and reports

• Stay updated on external sources for relevant information to support the sourcing process

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ professional-related work experience of an analytical nature.

• Excellent detailed knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.

• Familiarity with production costing, inventory control and supply chain optimization strategies.

• Fluent in both written and oral English

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Proficient in database and query tools

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
