Human Resources Assistant at our Long Prairie, MN plant.

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will:
- Process and audit new hire Form I-9s.
- Process and send employee verification letters.
- Backup and assist with Kronos payroll.
- Add and remove new employees and termed employees from benefits.
- Balance benefits for payroll deductions.
- Initiate and track Leaves of Absence and FMLA.
- Upload new hire information into UKG and Kronos.
- Scan new hire folders, disciplinary action, and other documents into UKG/EFM.
- Reset employees UKG.
- Add parking permits.
- Update badge numbers as needed.
- Send out term letters and eviction letters.
- Add new hires and delete termed employees and employees when lease is up from the apartments.
- Coordinate personnel activities with proper supervisors and department heads to promote employee relations.
- Conduct employee relations and assist employees with questions (payroll, benefits, policies, etc.)
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality, this job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion, and secure information management.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of office experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Kronos, UKG, and iCIMS.

Knowledge of current State and Federal employment laws and regulations, Labor and Employee Relations, and benefits.

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Good communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management: ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Ability to communicate effectively with all types of employees.

Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
