Human Resources Assistant
Department Overview
This department is primarily responsible for the management and development of our company’s employees.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will support the Human Resource team. This position requires frequent interaction with employees at all levels of the company.
The following functions are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day to day functions of HR
- Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mail distribution and filing
- Coordinates and maintains records for staff office space, phones, etc.
- Creates and modifies various documents using Microsoft Office
- Coordinates meetings and conference calls as needed or anticipated
- Maintain and respond to email inquiries
- Answer phones promptly and uses good judgment to prioritize the distribution of messages in a timely manner
- Prepares meeting materials and assists with the development of PowerPoint presentations
- Responsible for keeping inventory of all office supplies and placing orders for replenishment is needed
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook- High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of Human Resources experience
- 3+ years of administrative support experience with increasing responsibility required
- Experienced using ADP and/or Workday software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to maintain the strictest of confidentiality, professionalism and a positive attitude
- Overtime as required by the department
