Perform Human Resources duties inclusive of employee relations; investigations; performance management; talent acquisition and onboarding; Benefits and LOA compliance; employee rewards and recognition; employee feedback survey; and HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) maintenance.

  • Management of the HRIS, ATS and Talent acquisition processes within ADP Workforce Now.
  • Partner with Area Leaders; Store Leaders; and Team Members related to Employee Relations initiatives.
  • Conduct HR Related and Loss Prevention related investigations and prepare investigative overview consistent with company investigative processes.
  • Completes unemployment compensation inquires timely and accurately including attending hearings.
  • Executes Team Member termination process to insure proper documentation, timely execution of all compensation requirements and system updates.
  • Timely reporting to include performance management; turnover; recruiting statistics; LOA; Garnishments; unemployment compensation; workers compensation; company earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability payments, etc.
  • Administer company performance management system for all team members inclusive of new hires; disciplinary; internal development as well as annual performance review processes.
  • Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Working with cross- functional stakeholders to ensure benefits and payroll services are delivered.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices inclusive of local, state and federal minimum wage and base rate of pay requirements as well as rest and meal break compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Three or more year's successful human resources generalist experience preferably in a multi-unit multi state retail/sales organization preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS and payroll modules in a multi-unit retail environment preferred
  • Experience handling multiple employee investigations in a multi store multi state environment.
  • Experience in the development and administration of performance management processes and systems through an HRIS in a multi unit multi state environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills with reasonable skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Routine & process oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Solid understanding of payroll and basic accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and third-party software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated high ethical behavior, unquestionable integrity, and character in business transactions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Write routine reports and business correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before Team members of the organization whether individually or in groups.
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills.
  • Accept and implement verbal and written feedback.
