The Role:

We are looking for a thoughtful and strategic HR professional driven to deliver high quality service to business leaders, employees, and colleagues.

You will partner with clients to engage and retain high performing talent, participate with HR leadership in developing strategic direction for the department, identify and drive adoption of best-in-class HR practices, while continuously resolving client and employee needs at all levels.

We work a hybrid scheduled with offices based in El Segundo. This position will be required to come to the office about 3-4 times a month.

This is a temporary position providing support to the HR team and company and the assignment could last 4 - 5 months. There is also the possibility of this position being temp to hire.

The expected California Pay Range for this position is $95,000 to $105,550.

Responsibilities:

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with leadership on HR programs and strategies in support of assigned client groups and other business needs
  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units
  • Serve as a consultant to management on key organizational and management issues, while also being an employee champion
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on human resources policies and procedures and legal (regulatory) compliance issues in a digestible manner
  • Advise client group on talent needs
  • Manage the resolution of complex employee relations issues, leading / assisting in the investigation of employee complaints and partnering with legal counsel when needed
  • Counsel management regarding appropriate disciplinary actions to create consistency and ensure minimal legal risk.
  • Ensure managers and employees are engaging in on-going development conversations
  • Support the annual performance management process and end of cycle and compensation planning
  • Consult with managers regarding market trends, job classifications, and application of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units. Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Maintain the Company culture by providing strong leadership, inter-departmental communication, and exuding 24 Hour Home Care’s core values
Qualifications:

HERE'S WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Minimum 3+ years Human Resources experience
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization
  • Proven competency investigating and resolving complicated employee relations issues
  • Ability to achieve high impact in an unstructured environment; comfort working in ambiguity
  • Fluency in California employment law; stays up to date with current trends
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of various HR platforms and how they can enhance the business and experience
  • Individually secure with a calm and gracious approach
  • Adopts a 'play to win' mentality and acts boldly and nimbly in a fast-moving environment
