HR Generalist
Classification: Full-time
Reports to: CEO/Management

Job Description:
The Rocky Mountain Forest Products HR Generalist will be responsible for managing all HR functions for the organization, as the sole HR representative in the company. This includes managing the recruitment process, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions, manage the onboarding process, and coordinate necessary paperwork for new hires.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and managing employee terminations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Address employee concerns and manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and managing disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures, and update them as necessary to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees and managers.
  • Manage HR metrics and key performance indicators, including turnover rate and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and solve HR-related issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
  • Experience with HR software and other technology tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
