Job Description:
General Purpose
Under direct supervision, answer switchboard and receive and log in visitors to the plant and perform a wide variety of clerical duties.
Essential duties
- Check applications for completion and log applications into JobVite.
- Call applicants and schedule interviews.
- Maintain adequate number of new hire forms
- Maintain supplies for visitors, applicant tours, etc.
- Assist with applicant interviews
- Interpret and translate both verbal and written communication as necessary
- Assist HR Supervisors with required recordkeeping
- Operate computer to enter data related to HR recordkeeping and functions.
- Assist team members with basic HR related questions
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and abilities
Demonstrate knowledge of computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Work and Outlook.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments, exercise sound judgment and initiative to complete tasks according to schedule.
References must indicate reliable attendance and punctuality, diligent performance, accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience and Training
High school level education or an equivalent combination of experience and education desired.
