Desired Education & Experience:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for implementing and executing Arch Mortgage Group’s human resources strategy in conjunction with business needs. This role works closely with the AVP/HR as well as functional/business leaders within their assigned business groups.The incumbent not only serves as the day to day contact for assigned groups but is also responsible for leadership recruiting, assisting in D&I efforts, program design and management, role/compensation evaluation and more.
This role operates independently working on complex projects and initiatives with broad impact while receiving general guidance from AVP, HR Business Partner.

- Serves as the day to day contact for HR issues within assigned function/business groups.
- Partners with HR peers to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs. Monitors and strives to integrate HR services within the business unit, communicating and ensuring compliance and consistency with all HR policies.
- Designs, develops, executes, and evaluates recruiting strategies, processes, and policies for recruitment within Arch Mortgage Group for Officer level roles as well as conducts all International hiring for the segment.
- Partners with leadership and AVP/HRBP to strategize and execute on Mortgage’s D&I efforts to continue building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. May include working directly with ERG’s and/or the Mortgage D&I Council.
- Designs, develops, and maintains programs such as career pathing, rotational programs and Mortgage GPS.
- Serves as Program Manager for Arch external outreach programs to include Summer Internships and Arch MI Scholar programs. Responsible for managing all phases of the projects including but not limited to scope, design, planning, facilitating, scheduling, budget, communications, quality, and success of programs. Providing leadership, oversight management delegation and coordination to both internal and external stakeholders involved in projects.
- Collaborates with people leaders in the design, development and/or updating of job descriptions.
- Works with Managers/Leaders, AVP/HR Business partner and compensation team to ensure appropriate salary levels for all roles.
- Partners with AVP HRBP and people leaders in assigned function/business on various processes including performance management and workforce forecasting needs.
- Broad knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to oversee the management of programs, providing detailed attention to strategy, delegation, adherence to budgets and program implementation.
- Experience in managing the recruitment lifecycle.
- Experience in developing and designing employee development programs.
- Highly proficient communication skills with the ability to develop internal relationships.
- High level customer orientation; ability to engage, inspire and influence all levels of employees.
- Self-motivated with sense of urgency. Excellent project management skills and ability to hold self and others accountable to meeting deliverables.
- Excellent sales ability to present the company, department, and position in a favorable manner.
- Strong organization skills to track all stages of projects.
- Preferred experience in development, implementation and use of career pathing and/or rotational programs.
- Must be open to working flexible hours to support a global business.
Required Education & Experience:
Required knowledge and skills would typically be acquired through a BA in HR or related fields and 3 – 5 years HR experience, including both generalist and specialist experience.
Desired Education & Experience:
- PHR, SHRM-CP preferred.
- International experience a plus.
