HR Administrator-Flexible schedule Job at DYMA Brands
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Administrator assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR Admin carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, safety, executive administration, and employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for:
- Ensures accuracy of payroll information including timecards, benefits, and documents
- Recruiting and staffing logistics for temporary employees
- Employee orientation and recordkeeping
- Reporting employee safety, health, and welfare
- Maintaining confidential employee information files and HR filing system
Assists with:
- employee relations
- policy development for safety program
- running reports and record keeping in Paycom payroll system
- company-wide committee facilitation and participation,
- company employee communication,
- with day to day efficient operation of the HR office
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years experience in human resources and/or payroll administration,
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point,
- Well developed interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Paycom payroll system experience preferred
SPECIALIZED SKILLS
Skills in general business management, innovative planning, and good oral and written communication. Ability to keep strict confidentiality on all relevant matters. Ability to work under stress and multi-task.
Working knowledge of Paycom human resource management processes/systems; and an understanding of trends and developments related to manufacturing.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts, such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
