  • Utilize existing promotional material for recruiting or create additional content.
  • Conduct in person and phone interviews for candidates for hourly (entry level) positions.
  • Evaluate candidate suitability for placement and recommend for job offer.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening process and schedule orientation.
  • Assist with new hire orientation process and preparation of paperwork for new hire processing.
  • Assist with data entry in HRIS systems and paper files
  • Demonstrates high level of commitment to providing a safe and positive workplace.
  • Verify and ensure all communication centers are maintained in an orderly fashion with up to date materials
  • Supports day to day functions of the HR Generalist and HR Manager
  • Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and advanced data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and follow up
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
  • Proficient with Indeed and other similar recruiting sites
