We are seeking to hire a Full Time Houseman, Monday Friday, Every other weekend.

Primary Responsibilities:

• This position is primarily responsible for cleaning inside and outside of the building. Trash removal, and recycling pickup throughout the building. Additional duties include moving furniture and assisting with event room set up as requested. The employer reserves the right to modify and add to your job duties. Management may ask you to perform other duties that are outside of your normal descriptions.

Position Summary:

• Attend monthly meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following procedures as assigned.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Clean all assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follow the ten step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items needed to maintain a clean safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.
• Ensured restrooms as cleaned and restocked per department protocol
• Completes weekly projects as designated by supervisor
• Makes sure employees are properly equipped and supplied
• Maintain all floors as scheduled and assigned.
• Seek out areas that require cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by your supervisor.
• Perform task in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to deal with frequent interruptions.
• Follow directions and instructions.
• Identify safety and hazards and act accordingly.
• Carry out proper cleaning procedures on a daily basis.
• Ability to complete task to the highest standards possible.
• 2 to 4 years working in a commercial housekeeping or floor care environment.
• Excellent communication skills
