In this role, you will supervise the housekeeping staff and ensure that patients and residents have a clean environment to heal and thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide department orientation and training to new hires.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and develop team member’s performance
- Perform routine and specific cleaning in the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness for the facility.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory agencies.
- Execute and maintain daily quality control systems.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to continuously improve service
- Create weekly schedules for staff
- Participate in hospital committee meetings.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required, Associates degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience working in a healthcare facility.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
- Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive/confidential information.
- Effective judgment and decision making ability.
- Must be proactive, self motivated, and demonstrate an ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
