- SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Housekeeper is responsible for upholding the company’s cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and commons areas located in the hotel
- ORGANIZATIONS
Reports to General Manager/ Supervisor. No Direct Reports.
- Primary Duties and Accountabilities

Cleaning responsibilities
- Change and replace all bed linens and towels
- Sanitize and clean all restrooms
- Dust/Wipe down all room surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances and furniture.
- Vacuum / Mop all floors
- Restock all room amenities
- Assure all rooms are set up to company standards
- Cleans and Maintains personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
- Must be able to work flexible times

Customer Service
- Greets guests and employees in a friendly manner
- Assists guests and staff with anything that they may need from housekeeping perspective

Other Duties
- Completes daily housekeeping report
- Reports any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
- Informs the executive housekeeper or front desk staff when rooms are ready for new customers.

- SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of work experience required.
- Previous Housekeeping experience is highly recommended.
- Ability to efficiently work under time constraints.
- Able to work independently or with others.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 25 to 50 pounds frequently
- Able to work Flexible schedule.
- Frequently walks, bends, climbs, Kneels, and extends reach to complete assigned task.
- Possesses the physical ability to perform all of the above mentioned duties with a defined period of time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
