Hostess/Cashier Job at Valle Luna Mexican Food
Valle Luna Mexican Food is now hiring host/hostesses for the night shift at our Cave Creek Road location.
~Candidates must be able to work weekends~
As the first and last impression of the restaurant, the role of the host is a very important one. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, customer-service oriented individuals to join our front of the house staff.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Greeting guests
- Escorting guests to their table
- Informing guests of specials
- Assisting with guest needs; high chairs, special seating requests, birthdays, etc.
- Communicates information to servers; birthdays, special celebrations, and/or other info
- Monitors dining room for open tables
- Keeps track of what tables are clean, which sections are open, etc.
- Monitors table rotation so tables are sat as evenly as possible between staff to ensure the best service
- Answers telephones
- Take orders from guest calling in to place orders for pick up
- Enters orders in to computer
- Packs food for pick up and secures payment
- Answers guest questions
- Keeps lobby neat and clean
- Keep restrooms stocked and clean
- Thanks parting guests for coming in, invites them to come back soon
- Completes all assigned side work
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
