The South Shore Early Education Program of SSCAC Inc., a private non-profit, is seeking qualified Home Visitors to support our Head Start program in Marshfield.
POSITION: Head Start Home Visitor: 30 hrs. per week, Benefits apply. 52 week position.
Core Responsibilities:
The home visitor's role is that of a resource for parents and a facilitator for learning. Must have knowledge and experience in early childhood development and early education specific to Infants and Toddlers. Excellent ability to communicate and motivate families. Knowledge of all community resources & referrals to outside agencies. Willing to engage clientele within the program. Able to travel on home visits.
Core Qualifications:
EEC IT Teacher Certification. Minimum of an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Must have a valid MA driver's license in good standing. Must meet minimum qualifications to be considered for the position. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic, or Spanish) is preferred although not required.

All candidates must have a current medical certificate, current MMR Documentation, current TB test, statements of CORI/DSS Background check, and complete an employment application online prior to beginning employment. Must be able to comply with COVID-19 vaccine mandate upon hire.
Retention Bonus:
Employee Retention bonus incentive available after 90 consecutive days of employment up to $500 (taxable).
