At WannaEat, we are innovative, customer-centric and community driven. Our goal is to generate growth and employment opportunities in local communities across US by enabling home chefs and bakers to live their dream of cooking and selling their homemade food. Our marketplace platform will allow buyers to enjoy these freshly cooked, simple and authentic meals prepared by local home chefs everyday. This in-turn will also help our customers lead healthier lives, spending less time in the kitchen and more time doing all that they love to do.

About the opportunity

Our platform for home chefs and bakers helps them showcase and monetize their talents within their surrounding communities. We will be officially launching in January 2023!

We are interviewing talented chefs and bakers in the home space from the Short Hills/Millburn area to join our digital marketplace platform (other locations will be fast followers). This is not an hourly or salaried position. We are interviewing talented chefs to be featured on our platform, and start or further scale their culinary business. Please note that salary listed is not a promise, but is a low estimate on income that can be generated by using our platform.

By joining our platform, you get to create your online store presence with your curated menu and exquisite dishes in no time. Not only that, we also provide secure payments, delivery network, marketing and access to a wide net of customers around town to help you build and scale your business.

What qualifications you will need:

• Time and aspiration to create your menu, delicious dishes and fulfill orders
• Basic equipment, tools and kitchen to craft, finish, and package your produced dishes and products
• You already have or are willing to get required certifications as governed by your local laws. We are there to help you every step of the way.
• Live within the community where we plan to launch - Shorthill/Millburn and Jersey City. Other areas around NJ are coming soon.
