Integrated Community Living is hiring a full-time Hiring Coordinator for the for our group home support staff in 5 cities in Texas. The ideal candidate would have ICF/IID and/or HCS (or similar group home) experience, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and experience in human resources and hiring.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining up-to-date information regarding open positions though on-going communications with regional directors
- Oversee job postings, monitor for accurate descriptions of open positions
- Proficient in Microsoft applications: Work, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Use existing technologies (Indeed, Facebook jobs, Paycom, Zoom) to identify potential candidates
- Make initial contact with possible candidates for open positions, utilizing friendly and welcoming conversations that focus on candidates’ strengths
- Conduct interviews in accordance with all legal guidelines to prevent discrimination; utilize video conferencing technologies (e.g., Zoom) to facilitate remote interviews or interviews at different times when away from the office (e.g., from home)
- Assist applicants in completing electronic job application and obtaining necessary documents for background checks
- Utilize HR software (Paycom) for all applicant processing functions, and coordinate with other key employees involved in the hiring and related decision-making process.
- Assist in conducting and coordinating new-employee orientation
- Working with all applicants and new hires to help them feel comfortable and “at home” with our key employees.
- Hours: Weekend time required every week to interview potential weekend staff who can’t be interviewed at any other time; Weekday hours and days negotiable. Prefer Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 7pm.
- No travel required but encouraged occasionally to build relationships with and provide training to local teams.
Salary of $35,568k per year and medical plan offered and 401k.
