    Glacier Middle School is seeking a Spanish Teacher to join their team of educators for the 2023-2024 school year!

    SUMMARY: World Language Teachers in Highline Public Schools help students develop the skills to communicate effectively in more than one language in order to interact with cultural competence and participate in multilingual communities at home and around the world. They also use culturally responsive approaches that foster inclusive classroom environments in order to support students’ academic and social-emotional success.

    World Language Teachers demonstrate high proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the language they are teaching. With these skills, they create an environment for students to learn effectively. World Language Teachers sometimes teach several levels concurrently, from beginning speakers of the language to students who are approaching fluency.
