Welcome to Heaven Sent Home Care and Staffing Solutions, LLC. We are a growing home care and staffing agency in Maine with an A+ accreditation with the Better Business Bureau. We offer competitive pay rates which has allowed us to become the fastest growing in-home care provider in the state. We are seeking loving, caring, and compassionate CNA's LPN's and RN's to care for patients per diem in facilities needing relief staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Maine CNA certificate or RN/LPN license in good standing
• 16/hour weekly minimum
• Employees must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current car insurance
• Must be in good physical health
• Must be compassionate and personable
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize assignments, while working independently.
• Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm
• LIFTING REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:
• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
• Ability to life up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
• Current Maine RN/LPN license in good standing
