Teacher Position

Basic Function: Responsible for the implementation of the educational program by ensuring that all performance standards, regulations and mandates are addressed.

Employment Status

• Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
• Reports to the Education Services Manager
• Duration: School year (September-May); Monday – Friday

The teacher essentials include, but are not limited to…

• Must have a baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education; or a baccalaureate or advanced degree in a field related to early childhood education, with experience in teaching preschool children.
• Must have a valid Pre-K teaching license.
• Must satisfactorily complete: medical exam, tuberculin test, and drug screening and sex offender registry check.
• Must obtain a PA child abuse history clearance and a PA state police criminal record check and FBI criminal history fingerprint-based record check.
