Head Start Lead Teacher - Oelwein Job at Northeast Iowa Community Action Corp.
Full-time (40 hours/week) Lead Teacher opening in the Oelwein Head Start classroom.
Responsible for oversight and leadership of the classroom team, including supervision of staff and for delivering services outlined in Head Start Performance Standards and other applicable regulations and standards. Encourage and help children gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed at home, school and the community.
Lead the classroom team to promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children ages 3 to 5 & encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program..
BA related to Early Childhood Education preferred; will consider AA in Early Childhood Education with experience in preschool setting. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal record checks.

Pay: $17.82 - $20.63 per hour
