Griffin Tree Company is currently looking to hire 2 Groundmen.

- Provides rope support for climbing arborists.
- Maneuvers suspended logs down to the ground.
- Cuts and processes logs on site.
- Hauls and loads all logs and brush into truck/chipper.
- Unloads all logs and brush at recycling facilities.
- Processes and delivers larger logs into unsplit firewood as needed.
- Operates chipper in compliance with safety regulations and best industry practices.
- Operates as part of crew and responsible for ground operations and cleanup.
- Completes annual education and training requirements.
- Completes Griffin Tree Company, New Hire Orientation Program upon hire.
- Valid Driver's License
Qualifications:
- Great communication and listening skills.
- Good attitude and able to take direction well.
- Experience working in team-based environment.
- Self-motivated and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within our company.
- Groundman experience
- Experience using ropes from the ground a plus.
- Experience driving and operating forestry bucket truck a plus.
- Experience operating a chipper and/or stump grinder a plus.
Employment Type:
- Full-Time
Salary (based on qualifications and experience) :
- Hourly: $18 - $28
- Qualifies for overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate
