Summary of Position
As the Global Engagement Manager, you will oversee a team of IT project leaders and delivery experts to help solve our clients’ most complex issues. You will oversee the end-to-end management of the portfolio of projects at your assigned life sciences client and serve as a trusted advisor on industry 4.0 transformation to senior and executive-level stakeholders. This position reports directly to the head of GMS for The Judge Group. Location: NJ, NY, or PA with weekly travel to northern NJ.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end management of IT services provided to the client including budgeting, resource forecasting, utilization, scope, issue escalation, resolution, performance reporting, and financials
- Provide oversight (or supervision) of IT Project Managers and their delivery teams. Conduct regular check-ins with project team leaders to direct, develop, engage, and retain employees. Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire individuals to achieve high performance
- Regularly evaluate project portfolio performance to ensure profitability and performance meet GMS expectations
- SLAs and expectations are met
- Manage client relations and serve as a thought leader/ advisor to senior and executive level clients on Industry 4.0.
- Advise clients on required capabilities and resources needed to drive strategic goals, and help uncover required capabilities to develop solutions
- Create, present, and manage all communications to the executive and senior-level stakeholders
- Communicate client concerns, questions, conflicts, and resolutions to Judge GMS Leadership and navigate problem-solving by leveraging years of leadership and industry experience
- Stay abreast of industry and smart factory developments and best practices to incorporate into practice and delivery
- Provide data and insights to the internal Judge Marketing team to create case studies and white papers to help market and sell GMS services to other enterprise-level clients
- Help grow Judge GMS business through insights and education of the Judge sales team
Required Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in IT service delivery with at least 5 years as a program manager for large-scale, complex GMS projects for enterprise level clients
- 7 years’ proven success in a leadership role
- 5+ years in industry 4.0
Required Skills
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a proven ability to manage and solve complex problems and manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience managing P&L/budget
- Ability to build and deliver executive-level presentations to clients and organizational leadership
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining superior results.
