General Laborer Job at Urban Mining CT LLC
We are Urban Mining CT LLC (UMCT), and we are recruiting for a Laborer (1 to work day shift, 1 to work night shift) to provide general maintenance at our manufacturing facility in Beacon Falls.
We are looking for a multifaceted individual who can perform a wide range of physical tasks in support of the production of Pozzotive (r) at our plant. Your role is to maintain the cleanliness and workability of the facility by completing a variety of tasks as assigned. You will work both indoor and outdoor including in inclement weather.
· High school graduate or equivalent (required)
· Minimum of 1 year working at a manufacturing facility (preferred)
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screen, drug test, and physical exam
Additional Job Role and Duties:
· Responsible for cleaning all areas of the manufacturing facility location
· Assist skilled workers as assigned
· Safely operate small power/hand tools and other equipment such as a pallet jack, skid steer and forklift (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work at heights & confined spaces, precarious places such as on ladders/man-lifts
· Ability to push, pull, squat, stand and walk through the majority of the workday
· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
· Ability to wear personal protective equipment including a respirator (training provided)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
