Job description: General Laborer

Perform a variety of general construction labor to produce precast concrete panels including form clean‐up, moving of materials by hand, and plant housekeeping. Production Laborer’s may be assigned to any production department (i.e. wood shop, steel shop, maintenance) based upon skill sets of employee and company needs and will be expected to carry out the duties associated with those departments.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

· Operating hand-held equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.

· Assist in the set up/layout of production lines: pull cables, tie mesh and rebar, disassemble and clean forms after use

· Assist in pouring and finishing of concrete or other departmental tasks to meet schedule requirements

· Observe all safety practices and policies

Working Conditions:

The performance of this position requires exposure to outdoor manufacturing area that require the use of personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection and you will be exposed to varying weather conditions.

Physical requirements

This position may require the need to stand for long periods. Lift 20 lbs . throughout the day and occasionally 100 lbs. Constant moving, bending, and reaching is required to perform duties. Must be able to respond to visual and audio safety warning devices and instructions from others.

Expected Hours of Work: Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but may vary according to production schedule. Occasional early, evening, or weekend work maybe required as well as overtime on some Saturdays due to workload.

Personal Situation:

Must be able to commute to both the Springfield and or Ozark Plant reliably for work. Must be able to work extended hours when required per workload.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.26 per hour
