ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Position Summary: This position is responsible for assembling component parts of agriculture products with high standards in safety, quality, cost and punctuality.
Essential responsibilities:
Job Function 1: Assembly
· Read and understand blueprints and assembly manuals.
· Mechanically inclined with the ability to use basic hand tools.
Job Function 2: Quality & Safety
· Perform overall quality check on finished part.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in assembly area and in the shop.
· Ensure safety requirements are followed with utmost importance.
Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
· Previous experience assembling farm equipment is desired but not required.
· High level of commitment to accuracy and detail.
· Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment.
· Willingness to learn new skills.
Personal Characteristics:
· Ability to work in a team environment and take direction with a positive attitude.
· Effective listener, approachable and considerate.
· Punctual with great attendance.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
· Employee is required to stand for longer periods of time.
· Visual acuity, close vision is required.
· Ability to use ladders (2ft – 10ft).
