Furniture Sales Associate
We are looking for additional sales associates to join our team at Fischer Furniture to assist our customers with their home furnishing needs. We offer great hourly pay plus supplemental commission and generous benefits, including but not limited to health coverage, retirement plan, paid vacation, and more. A Day in the Life as a Sales Associate:We value our sales team as the face of the company. The primary duty of a Sales Associate includes greeting our guests and helping them find the perfect home furnishings pieces to turn their house into a home. While it is a fast-paced environment where communication skills are one of our top priorities, it is also rewarding, as many of our associates build a positive relationship with our customers through the process of helping them achieve the home of their dreams. Other responsibilities include answering customer inquiries via the phone, maintaining store displays and appearance, ongoing training and education, and preparing for sales events. Qualifications:Ideal candidates are energetic and friendly with excellent communication and customer service skills and a willingness to learn. While previous sales experience can be valuable, it is not required. With many different styles, colors, brands, and budget options in our large selection of furniture, we offer personal hands-on training to help you succeed and grow by teaching you appropriate sales techniques and knowledge. Other qualifications include:· Good communication and follow-through· Goal-Oriented· High school graduate, or equivalent· Ability to work a fixed schedule including days, evenings, Saturdays and holidays.· Pleasant, considerate and polite manners when dealing with co-workers and with customers· Basic reading, math, writing and communication skills· A commitment to professional, ethical standards Compensation:Our sales pay is structured so that if you sell at the national average, you can expect to earn $50,000+ per year. You may guide our customers in our other stores as well depending on what products they are looking for.
