Working with us, you’ll be supporting people with IDD reach their goals and achieve independence—teaching and supporting them in daily living (cooking, cleaning, practicing good hygiene, etc.). This position is more than being a home health aide, CNA, or direct-care provider; it’s building lasting relationships and improving the quality of others’ lives, just by being there to encourage them as they grow into the best versions of themselves.

This role involves a combination of the following tasks—depending on the needs of the clients with whom you choose to work: *Caring for others, first and foremost *Being a mentor *Being a great friend *Teaching needed skills in creative and caring ways: cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, money management, personal hygiene (bathing, toileting, haircare, and nailcare, etc.) *Teaching healthy decision-making *Teaching self-advocacy *Providing transportation to/from appointments or activities *Creating a safe and friendly environment *Logging notes and documentation in a timely manner.

Locations: Stepping Stone serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the metro area and currently has openings in Littleton, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, West Metro Denver, Lakewood, Golden, and Westminster, CO!

Flexible part- or full-time schedule: Full-time with Stepping Stone Support Center starts at 32 hours/wk. Services can be provided seven days a week. Daytime, evening hours, and overnights are possible, depending on the needs of the clients with whom you choose to work. This is a great position for university students, stay-at-home parents, teachers, retirees and more! (Part-time hours are also available.)

Pay: Per-service, starting at $15/hour and goes up to $20/hour (Services are based on the clients' needs and are paid at set rates within the payscale.) - Apply now for more Information!

Requirements: Must be able to pass CAPS & background checks, must have or obtain current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (offered by SSSC if needed), must have reliable transportation & internet access, must be able to drive clients in personal vehicle and carry a minimum of 100,000/300,000 liability, with $15,000 property damage coverage, for auto insurance

Full-time benefits are offered for full-time employees on the first day of the month following the 60-day introductory period after hire:
