Position Summary:

Advancia Technologies, LLC is seeking a qualified Fuel Systems Operator who will perform fueling, defueling, accounting, administration, inventory, scheduling, coordinating, sampling, requisitioning, receiving, storing, distributing and issuing, reporting, researching and maintaining records located at Volk Field Air National Guard Base in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish a sample correlation program with the aerospace fuels area laboratory to ensure the integrity of the base-level analysis procedures

• Ensure an effective recovery program is implemented
• Implement the lock out, tag out program to prevent the use of substandard fuel or facilities
• Operate tank water bottoms, and fuel recovery pond
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Prepare receipt, inventory, and issue documents for fuels and cryogenic products accounting
• Maintain fuels and cryogenic records
• Ensure accuracy of receipt, inventory, and issue documents
• Process computer transactions to ensure proper billing and payment for all product receipt and issue transactions
• Monitor product temperature and handling gains and losses to ensure they are within authorized tolerance
• Compile data and generate recurring reports
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stocks are on-hand to support peacetime and pre-positioned wartime stock requirements
• Compile consumption data and monitor energy conservation goals
• Input data into the Fuels Manager Defense (FMD) to ensure accurate accountability and visibility of capabilities and support limitations
• Electronically transfer fuels transactions to the Fuels Manager Defense-Enterprise (FMD-E)
• Reconcile all databases to ensure all transactions have processed correctly
• General housekeeping on all facilities and equipment
• Snow removal, lawn care to include weed and grass removal/mowing, cleaning recovery pond from debris
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid civilian driver’s license
• Must be able to successfully complete a government background check and be granted base access
• Requires occasional travel to Madison
• Must be able to lift, pull, and drag at least 100 pounds
• Must have obtained a USAF Fuels AFSC
• Much have a working knowledge of the following:
• Composition, properties, and characteristics of petroleum products and cryogenics fluids including toxic, explosive, and fire hazards; environmental protection procedures; conservation; methods of receiving, storing, testing, and evaluating fuel and cryogenic fluids.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

• Some walking and standing required. You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds.
• Most of the work is performed in-doors
• Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time
• Requires standing for short periods of time
• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend
