Paws & Play Pet Resort and Training Center is a family-owned business and has been providing quality pet care since 2011. We’re proud winners of the “Best of Westchester” awards for Best Pet Boarding, Doggie Day Care, Dog Trainer, and Pet Groomer by Westchester Magazine for the last 8 years.

We’re currently seeking a high-energy, customer service-focused, enthusiastic individual to fill the full-time Front Desk Supervisor position.

  • Effective written and communication skills including accurate record keeping skills.
  • Ability to handle busy daily schedule and ensure completion of daily goals.
  • Ability to consistently hold individuals accountable when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Train, manage, and provide performance feedback for front desk/reception staff.
  • Direct the front desk operations including client arrival and departure procedures, and accurate documentation and pet information.
  • Resolving dog and client issues in a positive, professional manner.
  • Develop and continually review/update department procedures.
  • Ensure all staff members are practicing current department procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of lobby and all necessary items for other departments as needed.
  • Keep lobby area a neat, clean, and vibrant environment.

Candidates who would be successful in this position may have previous experience as a lead receptionist, hotel front desk manager, or customer service manager.

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
