General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Office Representative serves Occupational Health clients/patients by performing the following administrative tasks; greeting, welcoming, collecting patient information, registering, and verifying insurance as needed. This professional must remain calm and efficient since his or her work is often performed in a fast-paced environment where time is of the essence.

Preferred experience: experience in a health care field with Worker’s Compensation claims preferred.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients, employers, and other staff Analytical ability to gather, interpret and result drug screen data with strong attention to detail.
- Basic administrative skills including typing, filing, and the use of miscellaneous office equipment.
- Literate in personal computers (including keyboards) required.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
- Ability to work under sometime-stressful condition which may occur in a heavy workload environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective oral and written interpersonal/communication skills for interaction with and/or teaching patients, physicians, other staff and visitors.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and use judgment in many day-to-day situations.
