JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring a General Manager at our Renaissance Milwaukee West. This 196-room hotel is a premium distinctive hotel, that is ideally situated in Mayfair Mall and is 15 minutes west of Milwaukee.

Affectionately by locals as "Tosa," this urban enclave with a charming small-town feel, is filled with unique local shops and restaurants. Many of Milwaukee’s most popular spots are nearby, such as Miller Park, Historic Third Ward, Milwaukee County Zoo, Fiserve Forum and the Wisconsin Expo Center.

The hotel hosts the Eldr+Rime, which takes inspiration from the Scandinavian lifestyle, and has been voted Best New Restaurant by Milwaukee Magazine Reader’s Choice. The outdoor patio for beverages and dining is enjoyed year-round and is known for its Stugas (igloos) in the winter.

We are looking for an experienced and driven General Manager with extensive F&B experience, who will lead a team towards success.

The Ideal Candidate

• Organized, detailed oriented and able to lead a winning team of passionate and service driven hospitality professionals.
• Strong sales background and established networking skills.
• Proven ability to drive GSS.
• Effective in hiring, mentoring and leading a team toward outstanding results.
• Able to deliver outstanding financial results.
• Extensive experience in full service hotel operations and F&B.
• Prior Marriott experience desirable.

As a General Manager, you will be instrumental in hiring, motivating and rewarding a winning management team supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones. You will be the liaison with the hotel brand, our owners and with Concord in facilitating a successful business operation through the orchestration of brand training, operational deadlines, providing attention to detail in ordering of supplies and following budget guidelines, as well as networking with city officials as the “face” of this exciting and upscale hotel.
