About the role
Roku is looking for an outstanding FP&A Manager to join the Platform Finance team. This role will play a critical role in providing senior management with an assessment of historical and forward-looking financial performance, including analysis of business performance and trends, risks and opportunities, and communication of business insights.
This role will also play a key role in business partnering with both International leadership & internal finance teams, providing Strategic Finance support for the Platform business. Critical to success in this role is the ability to balance competing priorities, navigate a fluid and ambiguous environment and drive projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background and analytical mindset, advanced modeling abilities and superior attention to detail.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $99,000 and $223,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you’ll be doing
- Partner with Platform International team & FP&A teams to maintain a consolidated International Platform P&L, enhancing current reporting and forecasting processes, for both near term & long range
- Provide Strategic Finance support by developing executive-level packages that provide leadership with digestible and actionable insights on key operational and financial metrics
- Monitor key performance indicators by country and product, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of changes. Proactively conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends
- Partner with the FP&A teams and business partners to gather key insights during quarterly forecast and close cycles
- Support recurring & ad hoc FP&A deliverables, managing quarterly close, forecasting, budgeting
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses on issues relating to corporate strategy and positioning (market sizing, industry and competitor trends, etc.)
- Oversee resourcing needs, headcount & updates, headcount metrics, new investment pitches, etc.
- Prepare monthly reporting and analysis for senior management, and key weekly updates
- Work closely with executive management, business units and the finance team on ad hoc projects to provide in-depth business case analysis and intuitive reporting to drive intelligent decision making
We’re excited if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (finance, economics, mathematics)
- 8+ years of prior experience, ideally in a range of Corporate Finance, top-tier investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy/analytics roles
- Background in tech and/or media industries preferred
- Extensive experience building and maintaining complex financial models; expert level proficiency with excel
- Superior analytical capabilities with deep understanding of how a business operates
- Talent for synthesizing complex ideas and communicating them in ways others can easily understand; ability to clearly and concisely present issues, ideas and recommendations in verbal, written and presentation formats to senior executives
- Ability to navigate a complex & matrixed corporate environment while juggling multiple responsibilities. A positive, can-do attitude & collaborative mindset is essential
- Equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and work at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. No job is too small
- Ability to thrive in high-performance cultures, handle stress well, and aren’t afraid of long hours in pursuit of meaningful work
