Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising all accounting functions at the plant. The person accepted for this position can sit at our corporate office if already located in the area or Forest RVI plant in Mississippi.
This position is responsible for supervising all accounting functions at the plant. The person accepted for this position can sit at our corporate office if already located in the area or Forest RVI plant in Mississippi.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of accounting clerk(s)
- Ensure all plant accounting activities are completed timely and accurate
- Scalehouse support
- Payroll accounting
- KPI and financial reporting and analysis
- CIR preparation and tracking
- Audit activities
- Managing vendor relations
- Other duties, as assigned
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related academic field is strongly preferred or 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience:
- 1+ years of relevant experience for applicants with a degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience without a degree
The applicant must have basic skills in computer functionality and must have strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with SAP and MIS are a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
Strong organization skills to manage & prioritize a broad range of responsibilities
Supervisory:
- This position is responsible for supervising an accounting support team member
Travel:
- Moderate travel may be required for this position
The selected applicant can sit at Corporate or Forest, MS.
