TITLE: Beverage Supervisor

The Beverage Supervisor assists the Beverage manager to oversee a staff of bartenders, beverage bar backs, and cocktail servers to provide quality service and drink delivery to property guests. Controls beverage department costs, manpower and execution of operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the controls of cost and helps Department Manager with department budget.
• Monitors sanitation of all bar areas and coaches team members as needed.
• Monitors the developing of department quality standards.
• Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
• Facilitate the flow of information by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Model and provide prompt and courteous answers to all team members.
• Perform necessary tasks to service guests including but not limited to taking and filling food orders and assisting and maintaining dining areas.
• All other departmental duties as assigned by immediate Managers and/or Food and Beverage Director.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least a minimum of one (1) year combined Supervisory and or Food Service experience.
• Must obtain Safe Serve Certificate.
• Must be able to communicate in English including reading and writing.
• Must be able to work in fast environment.
• Must be able to calculate figures, amounts, discounts, percentages, and apply to practical situations.
• Must be TIPS certified.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

• While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand for entire shift, walk, sit and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells while working on the casino floor.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

REPORTS TO: Beverage Manager

SUPERVISES: Bartenders, Beverage Bar backs and Beverage Cocktail Servers

HOURS: The Casino Operates 24/7. Schedule, Shift, and hours will vary including holidays.

SALARY: $/hour / weekly pay / overtime eligible

BENEFITS: Dependent on classification and status
