The Fleet Transportation Dispatcher makes an impact by –
- Analyze relevant inbound and outbound orders daily and assign orders to the appropriate driver or contract hauler to maximize the fleet and drivers.
- Coordinate an acceptable delivery appointment with Turkey Hill warehousing, public, and customer warehousing for each delivery or outbound shipment.
- Keep Turkey Hill warehouse personnel informed of the approximate schedule for all returning backhauls and update personnel with all known delays or changes.
- Distribute appropriate dispatch schedule and driver trip schedule reports to the appropriate individuals.
- Maintain trip report data for warehouse deliveries such as actual delivery times and costs associated to contracted loads.
- Responsible for multiple offsite warehouses and all third-party shipping to those locations.
- Responsible to oversee the Turkey Hill backhaul programs, including procurement (internal use) and Haul for Hire (External).
- Schedule trucks and drivers needed for marketing events.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least two (2) years related experience in the Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or Trucking industries required
- Strong computer (Microsoft Office) and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
