Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Business Analyst Consultant to assist our global asset management firm in Los Angeles on a 2 - 4-month hybrid project. The Financial Business Analyst consultant will primarily work with our client, who recently implemented a new system to review existing reports as well as assist them in development / optimization of new reports utilizing VBA. The ideal consultant will have deep experience in creating reports from scratch out of large amounts of data in order that the client can easily and properly analyze and report out accurate information in regard to performance, AUM, cash flow, etc.

Requirements:
Highly technical with advanced Excel VBA experience (report building, testing, etc.)
Work with accounting team to automate the schedule of investments (SOI)
Implement enhancements and production fixes to existing Excel VBA
Able to transform data sets into a formatted financial statement report
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals
Knowledge of financial reporting and bank loans is a plus
Experience in Great Plains Dynamix / 365 BI reporting is preferred, not required
