General Job Summary: Financial Analyst serves in an analytical and consultative capacity and will provide meaningful analysis to support decision making. This will include supporting the physician compensation process and normal business operations. (This position will be based out of our home office in SouthPark).
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Physician Liaison for Finance matters
- Support and maintain supporting data for physician compensation plan
- Develop into subject matter expert for physician compensation plan and support business in reporting and analysis requirements
- Prepare analyses for physician compensation inquiries
- Analyze and interpret healthcare revenue data; develop and improve analysis methods and reports
- Review monthly revenue recognition process output; Analyze business impact.
- Perform analyses and work on initiatives to improve physician compensation model precision and efficiency.
- Perform other ad hoc business analysis and modeling as needed.
- Extract and validate data from source systems to obtain data sets for models and forecasts
- Coordinate with accounting, finance and analytics teams on accounting, systems and planning matters
- Proactively develop and maintain a portfolio of monthly reports, dashboards and ad hoc reports.
- Support the routine forecasting and annual budgeting process
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, relationships, and projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline
Experience:.
- Minimum of 3 years as Financial Analyst
- Must have demonstrated the highest levels of mastery of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting, reporting, forecasting
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Identifies problems, develops and evaluates options, and implements solutions
- Manages competing demands and adapts to frequent change, delays, and unexpected results
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Physical Requirements
- Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Must be able to lift and support weight of 35 pounds
- Ability to concentrate on details
- Use of computer for long periods of time
